Stunning scenery and wild countryside

Sylli, which on the map is called Øvre Sjøli Gård, is located in Rendalen in Norway and is one of the largest privately owned properties in the region. There is so much space to move around in here that you are sure to find the type of countryside and outdoor experience you looking for. These might be confident words, but we mean what we say.

If you want, you can go hunting or if you’d prefer to fish in Storsjøen, we can provide a boat. If you want to go on a photo-safari, we can point out the best places. Or if the whole family wants to go on a camping trip in the woods, we have suggestions for activities, with or without a guide. Horse, boat, skis, snowshoes, hammock, Gore-tex or Bermuda shorts - you decide and we will fix it.

Our forest stretches from the glittering Storsjøen lake, up the spruce covered side of the U-shaped valley, across open plains and dark bogs ... all the way up to mountain plateau with its panoramic views – a total of 21,000 acres.
Sylli is the place where freedom of choice and nature melt together. You decide what you want to do during your stay and how much outdoor recreation you want to experience. All we want is for you to enjoy your stay.

”Sustainable management” is perhaps an overused expression, but nevertheless describes our commitment best. We choose to be green and that doesn’t mean that we throw out the electric heater because it uses a lot of electricity, but that we want to strengthen nature, culture and the environment by using environmentally friendly methods and initiatives. Being a green farm, doesn’t mean sacrificing comfort.
